Shipping and Returns
At Remy Battery, order fulfillment is our goal.
All orders placed through www.remybattery.com are shipped on a first-come-first-serve basis. Online orders are usually processed within 1-3 business days and then shipped with the option of standard ground, second day air or next day air. Orders may be shipped to any of the 50 states and Canada. Transit time will vary by destination and shipping method chosen. All orders are subject to verification and occasionally this verification may delay your order.
Although Remy Battery stocks a large inventory of batteries and related products we may periodically experience backorders or special order requests on non-stock items. We make every attempt to ship your order complete but when a backorder or special order exists we will ship the product as soon as it is available to ship. It is our intention to keep you informed of the shipping process with your order. Should you have questions on the status of your order, you are welcome to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your order number and your full name in the subject and body of the email.
Shipping rates are calculated based on the user selected carrier, estimated delivery time, delivery address, and estimated package size and weight of the item(s) ordered. This is applied to the order total during the checkout process. Heavy weight and multiple quantity items can require special shipping and handling requirements. Split shipments of an order may require an additional shipping and handling fee. Applicable shipping rates will be quoted and provided to the customer for approval prior to order fulfillment.
You should inspect packaging and contents for damage upon receipt. If the product is damaged in shipping, the purchaser must notify Remy Battery Co., Inc. within seven (7) days of receipt of the damaged product by contacting customer service at 800-455-7400 or email@example.com. Please keep the product and all packaging for inspection of damage claims. Failure to follow these instructions may result in the refusal of a shipping damage claim and denial of any refunds or exchanges.
If you find a discrepancy between the product shipped and the product you ordered, you must contact customer service at 800-455-7400 or firstname.lastname@example.org and explain the discrepancy to Remy Battery Co., Inc. within five (5) days of receipt of the product. Failure to do so may result in unnecessary delay in correcting the discrepancy or a denial of the discrepancy.
Remy Battery Co., Inc., reserves the right to bill shipping and handling charges directly to any purchaser that refuses a shipment without cause. Additionally, any refused or returned product is subject to a restocking fee of 15%.
Remy Battery is dedicated to our customers’ satisfaction, and we pride ourselves in selling quality products and providing excellent customer service. In the event that you wish to return one of our products, please review the following information carefully.
Return Materials Authorization (RMA)
Before shipping any product(s) back to Remy Battery, contact customer service at (800) 455-7400 or email@example.com to obtain an authorization number. Include your name, order number, product description, reason for return and a way to contact you. A Remy Battery representative will contact you to discuss your claim and provide return instructions. All returns must be pre-approved by Remy Battery and must include a copy of the receipt. All returned items must have a Return Materials Authorization number.
If you receive a product that has been damaged during shipment, you must contact Remy Battery within seven (7) days of receipt to report the damage in accordance with our procedure for making damage claims. Remy Battery will replace the damaged product at no additional charge to the customer. Please refer to our separate Shipping Policy for instructions for handling damaged products.
Defective products are covered under a separate warranty. For specific information regarding warranty protection, please see the warranty included with your product, or contact Remy Battery for assistance. To obtain warranty service, you must ship the product to Remy Battery at your expense in accordance with the “Shipping Requirements” stated below. Remy Battery will determine whether the returned product is defective. If the product is determined to be defective and is covered by warranty, Remy Battery will ship a replacement product to the customer at no additional charge. If Remy Battery determines that the product is not defective, the item will be returned to you at your expense.
All Other Returns
Returns for reasons other than damaged or defective products must be made within thirty (30) days of purchase and are subject to a fifteen percent (15%) restocking fee (in addition to the other requirements listed in this policy). To obtain warranty service, you must ship the product(s) at your expense in accordance with the “Shipping Requirements” stated below. All returned items must be unused and in the original packaging. Refunds will be credited back via the same payment method used for the original order. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
Items such as custom built cable assemblies or cut length cable are non-returnable.
You must first obtain a Return Materials Authorization before shipping any product(s) to Remy. Once a return has been approved by Remy Battery, the product(s) must be packaged in a way to avoid damage during transit. Products that are damaged during return transit due to improper packaging and/or carrier mishandling may no longer be covered by warranty. It is recommended that you purchase shipping insurance. Remy Battery will not be responsible for items lost or damaged that you ship back to us.
