The Intimidator 8AU1H Group Size U1 Battery by East Penn / Deka is an AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) battery designed for both starting and cycling applications. With 200 Cold Cranking Amps and rated at 32 Ah the 8AU1H is capable of small engine starting and mobility deep cycle use.

Usage and Applications

The Intimidator 8AU1H by East Penn / Deka has found it's place in many applications.

Marine - The Intimidator 8AU1H has become a common battery for use in small watercraft including Jon boats, kayaks and canoes. Ideal for powering electronics (fish locators) as well as small trolling motors.

Wheelchair & Mobility - Electric scooters and wheelchairs are typically powered by a Gel or AGM Group Size U1 battery (or two). The 8AU1H is a perfect replacement battery for tired mobility batteries. The 8AU1H can even be found as the original battery installed by many scooter and wheelchair manufacturers.

Lawn & Garden - Usually a riding lawn mower or garden tractor will have a standard flooded (wet) battery installed. Riding mowers and garden tractors create a lot of vibration which isn't good for the standard Group Size U1 battery. The 8AU1H is built to withstand the vibration generated by tractors and mowers. They also recharge up to 3 times faster than standard flooded batteries.
